Fascia & Soffit Cleaning Dublin

Restore external uPVC trims, gutters, fascias, and soffits to a bright white finish.

Restore Your Home's uPVC Rooflines

Dirty, algae-stained fascias and soffits ruin the appearance of an otherwise beautiful home. We wash off black soot, grime, and green mold stains from your exterior plastics to bring back their original look.

Fascia boards (the boards holding the gutters) and soffits (the underside boards) are exposed to constant dampness and rainwater spillover. Without regular washing, they develop stubborn green and black biological growth. Using high-pressure washing on these areas can force water under your roof tiles, damaging timber frames. We use gentle, low-pressure uPVC cleaning detergents and water-fed poles to wash them safely.

Our uPVC Cleaning Method

We combine safety and thorough cleaning to restore your home's rooflines without damage:

  • 1. Detergent Application: We apply specialized uPVC cleaning agents that loosen biological growth, mold, and industrial soot.
  • 2. Soft-Brush Agitation: Using long, water-fed telescopic poles with soft-bristled brushes, we scrub the external gutter faces, fascias, soffits, and cladding.
  • 3. Low-Pressure Rinse: We rinse the area thoroughly with purified water, leaving a spot-free, brilliant white shine.
  • 4. Downpipe External Wash: We also wash down the downpipes and brackets to ensure a clean, matching appearance.

Benefits of uPVC Wash

Washing your fascias and soffits is a cost-effective way to preserve your roofline assets:

  • Instant Curb Appeal: Makes the property look freshly painted and clean.
  • Prevents Plastic Staining: Acidic soot can etch into uPVC over time if left unwashed, leaving permanent dark marks.
  • Damage Prevention: We check for sagging boards, cracks, or loose fittings during our process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about uPVC gutter, fascia, and soffit washing.

What is the difference between fascias and soffits?

The fascia board is the long plastic or wood board running along the edge of your roof line, to which the gutters are attached. The soffit is the board located underneath the fascia, which connects it to the brick wall of your home.

Do you clean these from the ground or using ladders?

We use a combination of both. For safety and efficiency, we utilize long water-fed telescopic pole brushes from the ground, but we also use ladders to hand-scrub stubborn soot marks or check fittings.

Will the cleaning chemicals damage my plants?

No. We use biodegradable detergents that are specifically formulated to clean uPVC and organic stains without harming lawns, flower beds, or garden foliage. We pre-wet and post-rinse vegetation as a precaution.

Can you clean wooden fascias and soffits?

Yes. If your fascias are painted wood, we adjust our brushes and use very low pressure to clean them without peeling the paint. If the paint is already peeling, we can wash away loose paint to prepare them for repainting.
